Stewie, Tuck and MoJeff start U-19 practice on July 2nd in Colorado Springs. July 12-14 they will play in the Canary Islands vs Australia, Spain and Canada. Then they go to Lithuania July 16-28. It looks like they play 9 games in sets of three with a day off in between. July 18, 19 and 20 are the first three games against Lithuania, China and Mali. Based on results, USA plays July 22-24 (3 games) and then July 26-28 (quarter, semi and final). That is a brutal month of practice, travel and 12 games..!! Come home healthy Huskies..!!
 
Busy month for them. Hope they've been relaxing up to this point.

The entire (soon-to-be) Sophmore class is on the USA U-19 team. How many other schools can say that? Wow, we are blessed.....the future is in good hands, particularly the ones wearing the NC rings!

Technically Duke can..... Alexis Jones is the only member of the Blue Devil Sophomore Class... so ;)

Breanna..her added strength will mean more 'and-ones' around the basket.
 
I love that photo...............Hope A'ja was watching.:) And hopefully she and the other 2014 recruits can be taking a similar picture for 2015 USA Basketball.

Flash back to the 2011 U19 team.

19 year old Dolson and Hartley along with 18 year old KML working their magic on 16 year old HS player Stewart.

Now, in the present.

19 year old Jefferson, Tuck and 18 year old Stewart working their magic on 16 year old HS player Wilson.

 
The newest Baby Husky. But no one recruits like Kaleena. Hopefully, the 2012 kids picked up some tips on subtle persuasion from the master. I'd want to play with Stewie, Moriah, and Morgan.
 
Update on the U-19s from Stewie, via Twitter.... 3 am video of the ladies playing basketball in the dorm hall way...team laser tag...and team bowling. I get the impression they are having a ton of fun. Good for them. Travel later this week to Canary Islands and then, Lithuania. Reports are this team is LOADED with talent. Key is getting them all on the same page....Go USA..!!

Back row 3rd from right in which picture. The official team picture with the girls wearing their uniform or the girls in casual attire. What number in the official team picture does she wear????
 
At the USA Women's Basketball web site she is #14 in the middle of the back row.... :)
