Getting on the boat seems to be harder than it looks. Seems to be a snub worse than the All Star team.
Tiffany Hayes credits Geno Auriemma with WNBA success
Now in her seventh WNBA season, Hayes is one of four former UConn Huskies in the top 12 in WNBA scoring this year.
She credits her college coach ---even though he hasn't invited her on his boat yet.
"I don't know, I guess it's just something you learn from [Geno]. You know he's a great teacher, he's a great coach," Hayes said. "He teaches you a lot, on and off the court, and I guess one of them is offense for sure."
Did Hayes get a chance to go on his boat?
"I did not get on the boat and I'm a water girl," Hayes said. "I'm kind of upset I didn't get to get on it but maybe one day. I want on the boat , I want on the boat coach, now!"
