In enemy territory afainst top 10 teams this year, Stewie has now performed as follows:

@UMD- 26 pts, 7 rebounds
@ Duke- 24 and 11
@Baylor- 18 and 11
@Louisville- 22 and 14

That's an average of 22.5 points and 10.75 rebounds.

Now, four games isn't a huge sample, but it certainly seems like enough to be a trend. Just watching her play, you get the feeling that she has the cliched ice water in the veins: cool, calm, collected, and seemingly effective in big moments.

Many times, UConn proves to be a rare draw on the road, so much so that a road game doesn't always feel like one. Well, these games definitely felt like road games, and Stewie played like the best player in WCBB.

I thought an interesting comparison would be to do an expanded comparative for Stewie's stats in Top-10 road games versus Sims and Ogwumike. No success however, as those two have only played 1 game each, and WVU wasn't even in ranked at all when Baylor played them on the road. UConn obviously was ranked when Stanford played them, but that's it for the Card. And there "next best" road games are pretty mediocre.

A few other teams and top-10 road games: ND has 3, Duke has 1, UTenn has 1, USCar has 1. Kind of a telling stat.

To reach into the Geno quote bin and paraphrase a bit...

"We have Stewie, and you don't."

You would find it equally hard just doing stats against top 10 (home and away) - just not enough data points for any team not in the ACC or named Uconn.
