Stewie and Pheesa: Sports Illustrated Innovators of the Year ! !

Feel like Don Quixote on this one , but while cheering on "our girls" the post is a little off. 3X3 is not James Naismith's game.

3X3 is not exactly Naismith's game. But it is a direct descendant of it. It uses the same basic rules (no double dribbling, walking, fouls, etc.), along with some differences to allow for the different game play of the three player game. I don't think that it takes away from Naismith's game but pays homage to it. At least they play by the rules, unlike some other leagues today (ie - NBA). Now that game is a disgrace to Naismiths memory (that don't even play by the basic rules).

I'm only commenting based on the post on the Boneyard site, if there is anything important in the article (I don't have Instagram) I wasn't able to see it.

Keep in mind that women were at one time considered not athletic enough to play full court 5 on 5.

Uuh, if it was Naismith's game they wouldn't have won the 'Innovators' award. Is it new? is it fun? Is it athletic? What's the problem?
