So I‘m watching the highlights today and maybe I never noticed it by him before but Stew was amazing yesterday with the number and quality of his assists. Deft interior passing resulting in easy conversions. It was point guard like.
He's so explosive and dynamic that forwards have a difficult time reacting to what he's going to do when he grabs the ball. He's just too quick for this smaller teams, and last year I remember that even against the top teams, you could always see him using his athleticism to get to balls first.

I know people say Ross's athleticism is the best on the team, but when it comes to size and strength, it's Stewart who has the eye-popping athleticism out their.

McNeeley shows he's also has great athleticism. I always try to avoid Larry Bird comparisons with white guys but when he took that ball end to end and ducked around the defender to the hoop, it reminded me of how sneaky athletic Bird was with the ball in his hand.

Physically Stew looks like a pro. When you watch him move and get up and down the court, he is long and strong.

Right now he looks like he’s thinking too much to me. Shuffles feet a lot on offense like he’s trying to figure out what he wants to do, versus crisp reads and conviction. It was good to see him fill the box with the other stats. That’s where it needs to start, and let the offense come. He’s not shooting well, so rather than get down and let it impact other ends of game focus on the stuff that will make the team better. We may have enough data at this point to support he’s just not a very good outside shooter. He’s 0 for the season on 3s, didn’t make any against URI and shot a low % last year. Watching him closely in open practice he has a fairly dead ball off the fingers - needs to work on that in the off-season and get his rotation. In the meantime figure out others way to contribute.

I've seen him a number of times pass up an open look to feed Karaban or someone else to knock down an open look. I love his unselfish play. He seems to enjoy seeing others score rather than himself. I firmly believe that this kid is special.

JStew was the big positive takeaway from the game for me. He seemed slipping down the pecking order yet when he got in you'd never know it. Just like last year he seemlessly fit right in and played ball. After he made that nice shovel pass to Reed for the jam, he nodded, like he had this. Good to see. We can play him at anytime. He looked bigger in person this year. Is he?

Thought Stewie's passing was exceptional last night. He and Reed have a thing going on that's hard to stop. Our wings -Liam-Stewie-Ross-AK-IA--Are one of our team strengths. Foul line as a distribution/facilitation location for them adds another dimension that opens up the floor for others- Maui is gonna be a great test for them.

Said the same thing last night at the game. Great vision to flash towards the free throw line, for the lob threat. Not sure he’s the 3pt threat, he’d like to be. Head to the hoop young fella.

Our approach to breaking down their zone was obviously well scouted and drilled. They didn't really have the length to execute a zone defense all that well, but nevertheless, I loved Stewie and JRoss flashing to the top of the key and then spraying the ball around for easy buckets.

Nice thing to have when they are practicing together every day against the starters.

Think of it. We are so deep, our second team has "things" going on.
