Admittedly, I don't watch any NBA, but I don't see how he won't be an All Star in the league. What a player.
Close up shop, sell off the assets...oh, they're already gone...and declare bankruptcy.OMG our team is falling apart, what are we going to do????!
PG ShabazzLet's have fun and do a modern era (1990-pres) Freshman starting five. I got:
PG Doron
SG Ray
SF Castle
PF Caron
C Emeka
Figured I'd park this here rather than start a new thread
Love me some Doron. Doron ended his Freshman season as a 22 year old.Let's have fun and do a modern era (1990-pres) Freshman starting five. I got:

Freshmen A - 12.6/3/3 on 44/41/73
Freshmen B - 12.6/4/1 on 51/40/79
Who are you taking? Both 2Gs
When he committed to UConn and signed, Newton was suppose to be a senior at the time.I find that to be strange.
First, he could hurt his draft position. Which means $$$.
Second, he could have gone to college somewhere he could play PG but instead played off ball at UConn because he wanted to win and be challenged.
I get that he sees himself as a PG and that players want to go to teams that will put them in a position to succeed, but so what if he goes somewhere with a PG? He can play off-ball and take over at PG when the other guy's on the bench. Plus, injuries happen.
I wonder if he has a silent guarantee from the Spurs. Isoloating himself from these top-10 picks wouldn’t make any sense if that wasn’t the case.I find that to be strange.

I love that he's betting on himself but I don't believe in guarantees in the NBA, it really means nothing.I wonder if he has a silent guarantee from the Spurs. Isoloating himself from these top-10 picks wouldn’t make any sense if that wasn’t the case.
This. It's funny seeing people online, who have no idea who the kid is, calling him a "diva"
He's gotta be one of the most unselfish freshman superstars I've ever seen.
