There is plenty of bball this summer! And just think how lucky we are as UCONN fans to actually see our players this summer....USA basketball, WNBA, Olympics...other teams are not so blessed.

I said it last year, Morgan will be the new Kelly Faris type of player. She will do the little things, score more effectively inside, but not quite as athletic as Kelly. Her height will be an advantage inside but not as much as her strength and fundamentals. I so excited to see what happens in 12-13 and beyond!

It's all going to come down to whether the depth and versatility or UConn is enough to overcome the dominance of Griner and the clutch-ness of Odyssey Sims. Not that the rest of Baylor's team sucks or anything, but those two are the real engines for the lady bears.

UConn is going to be REALLY good next year, though.

UConn will come at teams in waves both offensively and defensively. Once the freshman get up to speed, this will be an amazing team.

And since we don't play Baylor until February, this year's frosh will have a good amount of time to get up to speed before battling with Griner & Co. Which is nice.

I do think UConn will win in Hartford. For all the talk about attendance, UConn fans still show up and get rowdy for big games. If you combine both the crowd and quality of opponent, that game will be by far the toughest environment in which Baylor has had to play during this current run they're on.
