Great career, Stef! Thank you!

I think she should go very early in the draft. Very, very early.

She went out like a supernova.

.-.
I think I called for her to go 18 pts and 14 boards in the prediction thread...and then she went out and upped it.

Did anyone predict the career she'd have when she got here as a freshmen? I certainly didn't.

The bittersweet news: tonight surely will not be the last we hear from Ms. Dolson. She may not be on SNY until her Geno Legacy Show, but I have feeling we'll see plenty of her going forward.

Her presence will be sorely missed next year. I suspect that next year team playing style will be very different w/o Stef.

I sure hope so. She called out Jimmy Fallon - I am going to try to get a ticket to THAT show!

As a center Stef is sui generis. I think she has redefined the position.

Congrats Stef.....

And your assist to KML make SportsCenter Top 10

:):):):):):):)

Yeah, I think MOP, too. And I'm a Stewie fanatic. Close...a draw! I think her ability to keep the team "loose" was more important than we may ever know as such a thing cannot be measured.

How about the punishment she took last night? My goodness. Even for a final against an old BE rival, this was a lot.

Two *really* hard falls (not the usual falls where momentum on a missed layup carries you to the ground) and a number of vicious blows to the chest and midsection on some hard screens. On the undercut, where Reimer's shove put her on her backside, I was praying she didnt have a hip pointer or a lower back injury.

Stef is feeling some pain today, but I'm sure it's hardly bothering her a bit.

I think the talking suits missed a chance to make a statement and pick Stef as MOP! It was an easy choice to pick Stewie and expected! I love Stewie, but in this instance Stef was the right choice! I remember when Maya Moore, winning the MOP of senior year Big East Tourney, said Stef was HER MOP of the Tourney!

Last year everyone poo pooed my post stating Stef would be a top 5 draft pick this year. I love everyone junping on the bandwagon now. Not many players with the toughness and knowledge of the game Stef has. And 6'5" to boot, w/ 2 championships. Stef makes everyone else bettter . Right there w/ SB as my favorite husky of all time. WE'LL MISS YOU STEF !!

Excuse me, everyone? I have praised so many things about Stef for 4 years. Her footwork, hands and court discipline was obvious from the start. I defended her positioning in the high post from the start when others wanted her anchored on the low block. Some laughed when I said her Junior year that she would extend her shooting range to the 3 and she did. All year I have said she will be a top 3 pick. So no, I ain't jumping on the bus. I've been driving it for 4 years and you aren't near to the only one who has been along for the ride and a great ride it has been.

Well Icebear, I'm sorry you took my statement " so personally" ! But, you have to admit there weren't many of us talking up Stef all 4 years. I actually started laughing this weekend over how suddenly certain tv experts started singing the praises of Stef. I can't wait to see what wnba executive wants to anchor his cast of stars with " THE GLUE ". The league is full of guards and forwards that can score. But you see very few centers that have the toughness and skill set that Stef has . We are really going to miss Stefanie Dolson.

I was close. After seeing her in the McD's AA game, I thought she would be a very good player at UCONN. Wasn't sure if she'd make it all the way to 1st team AA, but I thought she'd be really, really good.

Magic, you are the one who said "everyone." It is not true. Stef had many supporters.
