AB is really good guy he does a lot for the troops and still takes the time to respond to every fan letter he gets. Also, his back story is pretty incredible (was homeless for a period of time). I am not a Steelers fan but he is def a guy who I always root for.

He only wears them pre game. NFL threatened to remove him from games if he wears them during the game
