Statistics - Historical Comparisons

It's early - and stats are nothing but a mid-ground of best and worst - but I was looking at the UConn stats through December 1 and wondered how those numbers stacked up against historical national champions. The historical numbers are full year against this season's eight game start - but they do speak to a consistency and high level of continuous offense and defense. Have at them

Nice going. Victory margin, turnovers, and assist-to-turnover margin all look especially nice at this point, and we'll see what comes ahead.

One suggestion, maybe reduce the font size a point and see if all the years can fit on one page.

Think I'll quit and either get some sleep or a drink or two - I skipped steals at 9 per game. Blame it on advancing years

The blocked shots is truly impressive this year with the 3 headed wall of UConn

This may help put the team's early seasons stats into context. I looked at some of the other stats and the blocked shots this season are certainly impressive compared to previous UConn teams, but there's not a lot of meaning in the stats even at this point.
