Statistical oddity?

There are ten games involving ranked opponents today. Of the twenty teams, only one has an under .500 record (Illinois). It is obviously not surprising that the ranked teams are over 500, but it is slightly odd not to find a few more game against under 500 teams

Having said that before doing any research, I now see that only one sub 500 team in a ranked game hasn't occurred since... yesterday, so maybe it is not as odd as I thought.
