i hope not. 3 point shooting is the great equalizer and that's what Bama does best. They average 11 makes on 30 tries per game (37%) and they are 17-2 on the season when they hit that average. the 2 losses were to clemson earlier this year and purdue.

in the purdue game they shot 19/46(!) in a 92-86 loss, but I dont wanna have to score 90 points to beat them, especially if our 3s still arent falling.

i would much prefer a replay of the 2011 finals, where we end up with 50+ rebounds, with 40+ off Bama misses.

We've shown we can win with poor 3 pt shooting in this tournament, so I'm not too worried about how we'll do offensively playing in a stadium. We just need to prevent Bama from hitting their 3s.

Something I noticed looking this up. In the Sweet16 game, UConn had to travel 3,000 miles across three time zones to play a team that had only a 90 mile bus trip. And I don't remember nearly the hand-wringing about the journey for UConn then, that we heard about SDSU dealing with the same situation in reverse.
