The idea of grammatical correction this particular time, struck me as unnecessary, and in the same vein as being corrected for telling an ethnic joke that is now 'culturally insensitive'. It seemed more 'woke' than I cared for at that moment. My problem I suppose. Since my response I note that [USER=9775]@Get a Job[/USER] has researched that the word use is in fact sometimes acceptable. That makes the whole point moot, but wasn't the reason I hit 'dislike' at the moment I did. [/QUOTE]
