There's another thread where Hurley said that the starting spots need to be earned.
When it comes to this coaching staff, it's not who starts, but who is on the floor during key points during the game, especially winning time, late runs that put the game out of reach or the very end of close games.
It seems there is so much developing talent on this team, that I think we're going to see many lineup tweaks throughout the season to develop deserving players who are showing progress in practice and in games, and to develop chemistry with various lineups.
Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but if this team has more players than usual who are playing at a high level on both ends of the floor, executing what they are supposed to do, and aren't repeatedly making mistakes, we are going to see a much deeper rotation of players than we've ever seen. With that said, as we get deep into the season we'll probably see some tightening on who gets more minutes, but if Hurley is true to his word about players earning PT, I think we'll see most of the roster getting minutes deeper into the season than we've ever seen.
