Stars of Storrs roster

That D3 team is legit, and it should teach Cuse not to mess with D3s. They don’t do well with d2s either, just ask my boys from LeMoyne.

I am familiar with the “We are D3” Coach, good dude.

Saw the mention and quote from Boatright on his ankle. Any background on how/when it happened? During the game or residual damage from his pro season? Just curious-realize that there is limited press coverage on TBT. He's a tough SOB so he'll play if he can walk.
Early in the game. Rolled it really good. Came out of the game for a possession and then immediately checked back in. Was noticably a step slower post-injury. The ankle made the game winner even more impressive.

“They were trying to draw up a play,” Boatright said. “I said, ‘Bro, just set a screen, flare out, get me the ball on the right side, I’ll take it home.”

“My ankle’s killing me right now,” Boatright said. “It’s hurting me a lot, I didn’t turn it all the way. Marc and my team put so much into this. Marc put up a lot of money for us to be here. I knew I was a key part of this team and I just had to play through it.”

watching these games on FS2 and in 2025 it shouldn't be possible for a cable channel to broadcast as poorly as FS2 does, legit feels like you're watching a game on an old school fatback TV before high definition

Broadcast quality is infinitely better on a phone screen. Was watching on the Fox Sports app last night, came downstairs to find my son watching the fuzzy FS2 broadcast on TV. The 1970s kid in me had me reaching to adjust the antenna.

Because the screen is so much smaller I'm thinking. So why do we buy big TV's? FS2 could be better if they wanted it to be. But they have the data. They know how much would it cost to improve it. And how much more revenue would it generate. Who's watching FS2 besides those fans who want to watch that particular event? Who's not watching because it sucks? They''ll make better once the squirrels die and not a moment before.

yea you're right, I do remember that being the case when UConn had games on there and if a preceding game bled over into to the UConn start time watching the game on the app was a better viewing experience.

ending for this game involving the Kentucky alumni team is hilarious, ref calling out Willie Caulie Stein for faking an injury. WCS got fouled going for a dunk and 2 FTs would have ended the game on the Elam ending, coach told him to fake an injury so a better FT shooter could shoot the FTs. Archie Goodwin goes 1/2 from the line and then their opponent comes down and makes a 3 to win it after multiple tries so it ended up backfiring on them anyway.

We are D3, the team we're playing tonight in the regional final, has David Murray from Conn College on their team. Guy was like a D3 Bonzie Colson. Played his final year at Merrimack.

Apparently they also have Alex Sobel (Middlebury and SHU) and Sam Peek (Wesleyan and Stetson) on their rosters. Pretty cool to see local NESCAC guys go up against UConn guys.
