They're a ways off from announcing rosters. IIRC, naming the captains is one of the first steps. I wouldn't expect to see rosters till June.

That said, I went last year when UConn was playing here in Pittsburgh and it was a ton of fun.

I'll never forget -- his first game as a Husky, after he was held out during an NCAA investigation, was against #22 FSU at the Battle of Atlantis. He was fouled on a three, down three, with 7 seconds to go in regulation and calmly hit all three FTs to force overtime. #4 UConn ended up winning in OT 78-76. That showed me what he was made of.

"I knew everyone thought I was going to miss those," Boatright said of his trip to the line. "The way I grew up I had pressure every day, in a single-family home with my mom. My grandfather always used to say pressure was my middle name."

And he's a very nice, easy to speak with, young man. We were going to dinner (before a game) in the hotel that was (maybe still is) on West campus and I spoke with him in the entry about how he's liking it at UConn (freshman year). He loved it.

That's when I realized he was probably two inches shorter than he was listed on the roster.
Par for all the players I guess, but it didn't seem to hold him back from dunking over just about anybody he wanted to.

that is a good question. I don't have the immediate answer for that. In a strange way, I almost don't want him to be in TBT because I still want to see him in bigger and better things basketball wise. I know that might sound strange to some. But if he does join the Stars of Storrs I will root for him just like when he was at UConn.
 
"If the Stars of Storrs get past round one, they could face the Green Mountain Men, a team of Vermont alumni, in the second round, and Boeheim’s Army, a team of Syracuse alumni, in the regional final." - That final would be worth watching, hope it gets to that point!

Can they not play the Johnnies from Queens - former St. John's players whose uniformed would be Carnesecca sweaters?
 
Where did I see some random ex-player from another team is joining our squad? Not sure why they don’t have enough good recent alumni.
