Stix was always one of my favorite players... beat reporters always said he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. He's had some tough injury luck to not stick in the league. Sounds like he's getting healthy and has a shot to play pro ball and make a good living. Wish him nothing but the best.

I was at the game last night and from what I saw, Stanley's jumper was vastly improved. As he talked about, his jump shot was always a knock on him, we all know he has the physical tools. Best of luck to stanley!

Well most of us...one of the most classic Boneyard threads of all time was Nelson/Waylon claiming Stanley wasn't a big east caliber athlete. Lol.

Sticks was the kind of athlete that would make me just say "I think I'll leave and not play basketball today" if I was taking the court in a different jersey than him

Best of luck Stanley. Underrated Husky when on the court, vastly to me. His jumper was getting better by his last year anyway so good to see he continues to strive for the dream. Hope he makes it somewhere.

Not to mention everyone expected that 2010 team to be 50000000 times better than they ended up being and Stix to be a huge part of that. More accurately, if Dyson never gets hurt in '09 and the team still goes to at least the Final Four he would have safely been drafted.

If only he was a good athlete...

That first clip always reminded me of Donyell Marshall. Both had the same build, long arms, quickness, and mad hops. Also both were spectacular at finishing on the break. Stanley was just a little more athletic.
