Stanford vs. South Carolina Game Thread

"Intellectual Brutality". Really? It is crap like that makes me dislike Stanford. Like the other schools in D-I, D-II, & D-III don't have mental and physical toughness. Oh I mean..."Intellectual Brutality". Good Lord.
 
Is Wilson hurt? Eye poke maybe? Odd game.

Trees just won't shoot anything but layups.

Watching these two teams, I'm feeling pretty good about the Huskies chances assuming they take care of business tonight.

Can't fault her heart, but gotta get Samuelson out. She can't help on defense. You can see she's favoring the ankle and there is no way she can move laterally on D with the ankle in the shape it's in.

Funny, I have the exact opposite reaction...watching both teams and licking my chops at the chance to play them. But first, there's MSU to focus on.
 
Trees down 4 going to the fourth. If the plan was to get SC bigs in foul trouble down low, NOW is the time to bail on that - there isn't enough time left for that to have effect. SC has not been challenged by Stanford shooters at the arc all night. It's time to make SC defend the entire half court.

Team matchup differently against one another. Do people forget that Tara in the past and South Carolina this year has made us play in a similar manner?
 
First team to 60 wins? It hasn't been pretty but one of these 2 teams get a trip to the championship game. Let's see some good basketball in the 4th. I think Massey had South Carolina by 2 or 1 maybe. He might be right again.

I agree, but neither team looks like they will be able to score enough to beat UConn
