Late night rematch for the night owls

Russell Wilson's sister going off on OSU.... 4-5 from three in the first half

Stanford led by as much as 12 early in Q2, but then went on a long scoring drought that saw OSU cut the lead to 3.

Stanford recovered with a couple baskets to take a 7-point lead into halftime.

They are doing a MUCH better job defending Mitchell and keeping Mavunga off the O-boards. Mitchell has no field goals (0 for 6); her six points have all come on free throws.

Anna Wilson of Stanford, meanwhile, is 4 of 5 from the arc.

This is a really entertaining game. Kelsey Mitchell has finally scored her first field goals of the game and is now at 11 points.

But Alanna Smith is now (finally) having a great game, with 20 points and 12 rebounds through 24 minutes.

Stanford leads 45-36 with 5:37 left in Q3.

What a contrast from their game just two weeks ago. Never count Tara out!

Not watching, just saw box score. Seems like a different player might lead Stanford in scoring each game. After a couple bad games to start the season Alana Smith is playing much better recently. Had 20 pts/12 boards tonight w/ 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

When are they going to get McPhee back? I think she's missed at least 3 games now.

To me tOSU would be a much better team if Mitchell averaged 18pts and 8 assists a game.

All true, but she is playing better now. She went 4 of 9 in the 3rd quarter. And she's getting fouled a lot, and she's 9 of 10 from the FT line.
