Holy smokes! 36 years running? Hopefully the Stanford players can regroup and raise their competitive games to continue the streak. Brooke, Nunu, Elena, they gotta fire up the troops. Get them motivated. Playing for Stanford Pride out there now.

Thanks for this, though why don't you draw even more attention to this with some sky writing and a billboard?

I think they are going to miss. NET is 43 right now. 0-3 in conference. 0-5 on the road this year. 0-1 on neutral floors. That is a resume no one can justify selecting.

Next two are Florida state and NC State. Better win at least one of those two,

Also I saw this somewhere, but in a different timeline they could’ve had a starting front court of Betts, Brink and Iriafen this season
Don't know about Brink as I think she used her COVID year last season. The Betts-Iriafen combo would have been something though.

Because I had to see this, so do you.

This week's Creme has Stanford as the 4th team out.
He also has Clemson in the field despite having only one road win (against a bad Wake Forest team) and home losses to Georgia and Florida (neither are in).

I'm not saying that he's wrong about Stanford, but his model isn't looking that great right now (too early).

That would have been one interesting front court. The matchups would have been crazy to defend.

Counting the last three AIAW FF appearances (including a runnerup and a championship), La Tech had 28 consecutive appearances from 1979 though 2006.

Once a blueblood always a blueblood even after the Fall.

I thought she was from the class of 2019. Thanks for the correction.
Fun fact TCU's Prince is from Olivia Nelson Ododa's class. Recovered from many injuries.

On Stanford, it's a real test for the new coach in player development. They have good unproven talent to work with.

Probably they will still be on the bubble during the ACC tournament. A nice upset win or 2 there could push them in.

Maybe the committee will give them a legacy invite to preserve the streak like they did for Tennessee.

Women and men, the well known models get a lot more accurate once they start getting tips from people on the committee.

NCSt at home was a great opportunity to enhance the resume but went down in flames. 9-7 and 1-4

Remaining:
@ Wake, Duke, ND, Lou, VaTech, UVa
H vs Cal, Pitt, UNC, Syr, BC, Mia, GaT

Good case: 3-3 on road, 5-2 home (17-12/9-9)
Bad: 1-5 on road, 3-4 home (13-16/5-13)

Appreciate you neglecting to mention our win over FSU. It's almost like you're out to get us. ;) And honestly, we lost 70 percent of our points scored from last season, and NC State basically returned everyone, and we finished about the same as with Brink and Iriafen in that Sweet 16 meltdown. Against that baseline, I'm not that upset - or that surprised. Wes Moore is an excellent halftime adjustment coach, and but for the disastrous third quarter, we beat them by 3.

The current state of Stanford Women's Basketball really demonstrates what a great coach brings to a program. I cannot fathom this 9-6 record under Tara. Maybe she knew something was up last year and got out while the gettins' good.

Their first trip to Tobacco Road lies ahead this week.
