Can't go another year without a FBS win! ECU and USF @ home; UMass, Illinois and Tulane on the road are 5 games where there should be 1 or 2 wins at least. Navy, Houston and Indiana are more of stretches but they aren't world beaters either. Find a QB and get total wins closer to 6 than 1.

I still believe this team will win at least 3 games this fall. The move out of the AAC, although I still have my reservations (from a FB perspective) will serve as additional motivation.

Keep teams to under 40 per game and 3 might be possible.

Think of how low we've sunk.

Will we tackle a runner before they get into the secondary this year?

The defense was so bad last season and we have complete unknowns under center..........so I have no idea how anyone can predict where this season goes. Let’s be honest, 0-12 is on the table.

Even I don't think 0-12 in on the table. Not a single team in 2018 in FBS went 0'fer. If you think 0-12 is on table HCRE2.0 should be fired today.

2.5 sounds about right, 3 probably the real number. 4 is possible but 2 is more likely than 4.

How many does it take to allow Randy to credibly continue the rebuild? I think 4 is the minumum for that. 2 or 3 and recruits will stop buying in.

Probably depends more on how competitive the team is in the losses than the win total.

Thank God for Wagner. They lost badly to football powerhouses like Sacred Heart, Campbell and CCSU last year. That's a slam dunk. UMass should be very winnable. ECU stinks but they did put up 55 last year. Probably 2-3 wins.

I'd love to see the schedule before I comment. When is the USF game? I would love to see a blizzard/ cold rain for that game and we might win it. Wagner we should beat, UMass should be beatable, ECU should be winnable, Indiana and Illinois are close to wins. 3 wins.. better defense, if QB is Tom Brady maybe more wins or close games...

Last year although 1-11 three of their losses were very winable. With some luck they could have had three or four wins even last year, despite having the worst defense in NCAA history. I think 6 wins this year is possible.

This year we have a football team. The roster is finally looking better. They will be competitive and will surprise everyone. Wins, at least 6. Maybe more.

The only game where we had any chance was UMass. With 5:00 to go we were down 15 to USF and 18 to SMU. You can argue we were vaguely "in" those games based on the final score (lost by 8 and 12), but those were not winnable games that slipped through our fingers.
