Ch 406 NYC cablevision.

Stanford up 5 in the second half, USC hanging around.

South Carolina down only 1 now with 5+ minutes left.

Neither team shooting well, just an occasional layup.

Tie game. Stanford's offense is Ogwimike, with an occasional basket from others..

SC keeps missing free throws.

Stanford's up one with 25 seconds left and the ball.

53-49 Stanford final. USC lost the game on free throws.

Stanford not at all impressive. Kind of soft inside with Tinkle and Ruef, and their shooters did not play (Greenfield, Samuelson). Their offense is Ogwumike.

Crappy game for sure on the road after 2 weeks off (one game on Sat). But credit Dawn and SC for great game plan (and crowd). Toni K. provided a lot of offense, especially key FTs. Greenfield and Samuelson played, just not much or great. Trust me, we've sucked on the road for 25 years on the east coast in Dec. A win is a win. Maples is different, very different.
