I think sometimes this applies more to the players than the coaches, but perhaps that's because a lot of the players have been friends for a long time even before college.

Tara was proud of her team, and she has every right to feel that way. However, the way Stanford played had a lot to do with UConn's defense. Our defense forced Stanford to make some shots that's out of the rhythm, and we definitely sped them up which caused multiple missed shots.

We played excellent defense, and our bigs played well. Also, we made some huge 3s when we really needed it. Let's hope it will carry over to South Carolina.
