Stanford Game

Why is The Stanford game being played in Ohio?
do you have something against Ohio? :)

It's an invitational. A set-up game to kick off the season and for ESPN to pretend that they really care about WCBB (also, they don't televise football on Sunday afternoons, but I'm sure that didn't enter into their thinking).

An invitational to start the season at the site of this year's Final 4; Ohio State plays Louisville in the other game.

Have nothing against Ohio. Just wondering!

If you think that's weird, the Michigan St. game is being played in Eugene, OR.

And the Duquesne will be in Toronto.

Didn't realize that. Several truly neutral court games. Duquesne sounds like it should be in Toronto, although it's actually Pittsburgh yes?

Yes, it's in or very near Pittsburgh. They offered to play us in Canada for Kia's homecoming game.
