It's an invitational. A set-up game to kick off the season and for ESPN to pretend that they really care about WCBB (also, they don't televise football on Sunday afternoons, but I'm sure that didn't enter into their thinking).

An invitational to start the season at the site of this year's Final 4; Ohio State plays Louisville in the other game.

The game is being played at the site of this year's Final Four, Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH. It's being played there to help gin up interest so the event can be sold out in April.

Didn't realize that. Several truly neutral court games. Duquesne sounds like it should be in Toronto, although it's actually Pittsburgh yes?

Yes, it's in or very near Pittsburgh. They offered to play us in Canada for Kia's homecoming game.
