Guys, let's cut Stewart some slack. They obviously keyed on her and KML in the first half, and she's just having a tough game. It happens.
 
I hope Banks gets the confidence to start slashing to the basket again. She was so effective doing that last season.
She may be a little more cautious though because of not wanting to get re-injured.
 
Sweet! double double for Stokes - 10/11 and 5 blocks!
 
Per Becca, via Doris, KML’s elbow is very swollen and she is in a lot of pain.

Shades of Will...
Do you remember that game - i think it was vs. Tennessee - where Crockett played out of her mind. So strong, all over the place, and I thinks he dove for a loose ball at the end - just a great and strong effort on her part.
 
This game was heads and shoulders better than last seasons game. (KML excluded)

This should a be boost to Stanford and their young team going forwards because this UConn game is much more talented than last.

Stanford may not be the number 3 team in the nation but they should definitely should be top 6.

UConn should get that vote back that they absurdly lost...back to Unanimous #1.
 
Haven't seen Kiah smiling this much since the WH visit. Very happy for her, and SUPER proud of her performance.
 
Haven't seen Kiah smiling so much on a court in possibly ever. At least it's one nice thing to see today, even if it doesn't counteract the KML bummer.

Hartley. She was the best player on the floor tonight, and it wasn't particularly close.

That's what I said about Kiah in the first half. I still think I would give Kiah the game ball but Bria was outstanding.
