An interesting note. One of the biggest buckets of the game was a 3 by Jill Townsend that pushed the lead back to 70-64. Townsend is from Okanogan, WA that is in the same league as Cashmere, WA, home of a certain potential UConn recruit from the class of '20. I've noted there are hardly any D1 athletes competing at that level, but there are some.

Actually a pretty entertaining game, especially down the stretch. Lady Bulldogs made shots when they needed to and handled the Stanford pressure a little better down the stretch. For a while there, it looked like Stanford's pressure defense was going to keep Zaga off balance an allow Stanford to take the lead. Great win for Gonzaga.

Yeah Stanford got within 3 w/ about 4 minutes to play. There was plenty of time for GU to completely collapse. They recovered at that point and maintained their lead the rest of the way.
