Only the third #15 seed to advance to the Sweet Sixteen (Oral Roberts in 2021 and FGCU in '13.)
Only two members of their rotation are seniors (Ndefo and Dasher), so if the core sticks around, they will have a heck of a foundation to build upon for next year too.
Former PSA point guard Jaylen Murray is getting a lot of run for them too. Between him and Clarence Rupert (offers from Wichita State, Saint Louis, UMass, Georgia, Murray State, Temple and more), Holloway reeled in a very good freshman class, especially for a MAAC school.
Overall, just a fun team to watch: tough as nails defense and creative, guard-heavy offense. It's amazing how physical they can play, especially when a lot of their rotations include three guards 6'3 and shorter. It's impressive and sometimes hilarious watching 6'2 185 Doug Edert fight through screens last night.
