I don’t think St. John’s had champagne for the entire second half

They were down by 22 to Villanova with about 5 minutes left. I flipped away because the game was over.

They just cut the lead to 3 with 35 seconds left. Nova does not look comfortable against the press.
St John's can put a run on late. I've seen it 4 or 5 times in the past 2 years. I think it's mostly Champagnie. He gets hot late. He's such a cool customer. Never seems rattled. Let's the game come to him. I can't remember a St John's player I enjoyed watching more.... maybe Artest. I liked Artest.

I gave up on SJU/Nova and watched Butler/Creighton.

Thompson of Butler just passed up a relatively solid reverse layup attempt to do...I have no idea what he was doing, and I don't think he did either. Butler lost by 2.

He hit the big 3 against us and a couple against Indiana. Posh led the comeback against Providence. Apparently it was neither tonight. They lost all 4.

Wrong borough but SJU is an ultimate jobber just like the Brawler. Good enough to get a rise out of the favorite but always lays down at the end.

What they need to do is go back to those artest era Jordan jerseys. Cincy too. Those were hard (great autocomplete btw mods)

He's still super cool to watch.
