St Johns will beat Nova tonight

Those types of postseason upsets happened to Jay Wright teams prior to their first championship. Not anymore.

If you want an underdog that’s got at least a puncher’s chance, there’s a team from Indianapolis you might be interested in.

Predicting tourney wins and losses: basketball fan's greatest folly:

1) You Predict a lower seed to win and if they do you look like the swami. No risk

2) You predict the favorite to win. But that is like proudly shouting out the answer to the $100 dollar jeopardy question. No glory

3) if we could predict the games with any accuracy, all of us big time CBB fans wouldn't be losing to our wives in the brackets.

But...I have a feeling about the the Johnnies too

It will be a close game and a very nice appetizer for the main event.

I got to wondering if SJU could sneak onto the bubble if they make the final. I just looked at their schedule and results, and it's shockingly bad. Their one good win (@Seton Hall) is balanced by a terrible loss to Pitt. I think they are a decent team, and I think they can beat anyone in the Big East on any given night, but I expected to see a few nice wins on their résumé. Generally, they beat who they should and lost to everyone else.

I mean St. John’s is definitely a tough team. They easily could’ve beaten us twice this year.

that should be a great appetizer

I’ll be watching sixers/ nets for comedy

Would love to see the Johnies beat Nova. But Julian doesn't usually get hot on back to back games. But hey - It's March. who knows!

The Johnies would need a mega dose of magic to beat Nova. Leading 13-9 a minute ago.

Storm playing their butts off - on both ends of the court. They'll need to keep it going to survive/advance
