Somehow I missed my other "home" (familial) team making it into the tourney. When I did my bracket I just automatically picked St. Johns and didn't look at the opponent.

My brother-in-law works for the Creighton Dental School, both my nieces are Creighton alums or soon to be alums.

Go Blue Jays (even though I have the Johnnies going deep in the tournament).

I had SJU losing to OU in the next round, so I'm fine with a SJU loss should it happen.

Does Crieghton have any interior offense at all?

Terrible call! How did SJU get continuation on that foul????

And why did the announcers not notice that's why creighton's coach was upset?

Langley got called for a flagrant 1 that Glory Johnson has never gotten nailed for in her life.

Wow. Just wow. Creighton did not stop the ball. It was a prayer, but you got to stop the player with the ball. What a heartbreaker for the Blue Jays.

Dont hate me Boneyard, but I was rooting for Creighton to pull off the upset.

Nice job St John.

McKenith is a terrific player. Stopping her is easier said than done.

And of course ESPN doesn't break in to the televised game (PSU game here in Philly) to show the last few seconds of the SJU game. I watched it on my computer but that's just poor broadcasting. There aren't many close 1st round games in WCBB so you'd think ESPN might try to show one that comes down to the last possession.

Great win SJU. The last shot was a prayer but McKenith did the right thing by taking it to the basket.

I was too. But, I have family connections to Creighton. If not for that, I would have been rooting for the BE team to advance.

It was a prayer and a great finish . . . but was it a travel?

Just another example of why ESPN still has a lot to learn, and can take some lessons from the way CBS broadcasts the men's tournament.

Kind of looked like it to me, but I can never really tell.

When they showed the bench it looked to me like one of the Blue Jay players may have called the ref an a**hole while making the traveling motion. LOL!

McKenith could be the 2nd or 3rd best guard in the Big East. Probably should have made 2nd team instead of 4th team All Big East. She did miss 13 games and it definitely cost her from 1st or 2nd team All Big East.

Tough, but correct flagrant foul call. Gut check time for St Johns, but they showed their determination and managed to pull it out. I was a bit surprised to see both St Johns and Georgetown have such a difficult time in their first round games.

It was a travel on last shot.

Hard to see, but she had to zig zag through defenders and it's hard to do that without walking. Ball could have left her hand before the 3r footfall ... it was a weird looking prayer of a shot.

Which made me surprised all over again that we lost to them. But . . .

any game, any opponent.
