St. John's Post Game Thread

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
What.

That was CRAZY. One of the best defensive performances I’ve seen.

Tarris Reed can do this any time he wants. 20 points, 11 rebounds, 6 blocks. Absolutely dominated the matchup with Zuby

Karaban missed a few threes trying to run it up at the end. But I thought he had a great game on both ends

Oziyah Sellers and Dillon Mitchell: 70 minutes, 4 points. Dwayne Koroma: 3 minutes, 4 points

THAT WAS FUN!!!!

complaining about Karaban missing a few threes. What is wrong with some of you.

Can I have some more, please?

That was nuts. The best this team has executed on both sides of the ball all year. Reed’s help defense was vastly better than it has been. Defensive rebounding was much improved. The movement on offense was great except for that lull before the half. This was a glimpse of what this team can be.

Tonight was what we thought this team was capable of. It's hard to believe this is the same team that lost to Creighton.

Just an absolutely enjoyable game to watch. One that I might watch the replay all over again.
I was helping my parents move and missed the Creighton game. Only game I’ve missed all year. So you can blame that one on me.

I guess the Creighton loss was a necessary evil, if they manage to hang on and win that one I don't know if we see this uptick in intensity these past two games, especially with Tarris who looks like a new man. I was worried that AK might be cooked physically after that one and now he looks back to his old self, he was very good on both ends tonight.
