Said "we have been getting nothing" as in not just tonight. Liam has been out and is a starter every game other than this one. As for tonight, we played 5 guys almost the entire 2nd half. Not sustainable. Looked tired.

Agree. . He needs to play through a few mistakes and misses. Defense has to be better but point stands.
It took a miracle shooting performance to beat Marquette playing the way we are right now. Winning any of those games would be another miracle.
That may be, but it’s an intent that I think will burn them more often than lead them the way it did today.

We already beat Marquette on the road and We can beat SJU at MSG since that will be a neutral site game. Toughest game left in the schedule is at Creighton. We can win the rest.
Give Rick his due, he outcoached Danny tonight. I had thought StJ wasn't a good perimeter defensive team, but forcing our guys out another couple of feet affected both 3 pt shooting and starting the offense.

His defense I feel like isn’t as bad as it’s made out to be. He had a block and some tough rebounds. And he’s a tough big body inside and in the midrange area. SJU doesn’t shoot and make a ton of 3s, which would serve to not expose that shortcoming in his defensive game.
