BY jinx rearing its ugly head again. Not sure if its better for Marquette to lose to the Jonnies (possibly clearing them from the 3-line if the committee has them ahead of us) or for us to get a shot at them ourselves tomorrow

Lunch duty done right.
 
Seen some VERY ugly offense from St. John's this half.

There was one possession in particular where they had 4 guys within about 10 feet of each other at the top of the key, got off a mediocre shot, Soriano outbattles 2 guys for the rebound and kicks it out, and then Addae-Wusu immediately jacked a 3 from like 5 feet behind the arc
 
St Johns isn't winning anything giving up that many wide open threes for contested midrange 2's

Fewer three-pointers. More Soriano
 
Soriano with his 7th offensive rebound with 13 mins left in the game. Only thing keeping St. John's from falling apart this half as of right now

Even our end bench players look ready to go!
 
Are tickets for the day, or game? Does MSG need to be cleared out before the UConn game starts?

He's Drummond-ing a bit. Getting oreb but putting up contested putbacks that have little chance and then grabbing those offensive rebounds too. Missing again, so empty trip, but 2 orebs.
 
St. John's has Kolek switched on Soriano up 1 with 2 minutes left. Don't get him the ball, Storr takes a runner. Ball off them after miss. Could be a huge play in the game.

That over and back was brutal. That is on Kolek. He should have screamed to Ighodaro to hold the ball.
 
There are games where we have been way to happy to just hoist threes and not work for the best shot on offense. Marquette is having one of those games.
 
Two huddles are priceless. Posh and a couple of other Johnnies yelling at each other, while Anderson nods his head saying nothing. Smart with a tablet and undivided attention. Marquette FTW book it.
 
Ighodaro just punked Soriano on the most important rebound of the game.
