No more discussion of matchups, crying about our paltry advanced metrics, or debates on Karaban’s place in the Husky pantheon (if you want to argue back and forth with someone all day go do it with your wife and spare the rest of us).

To be fair last game we shot better (55% to 50%) FG and 47% to 26% 3FG.

Issues were fouls were crazy discrepancy (us +8) as refs simply refuse to call off ball fouls anymore and they beat us on the boards by 6 total diff.

Silas had too many turnovers (9) and overall we were +5 TO

This game being in Hartford should be a little fairer on the FTs, and Silas will have a better Ast/TO ratio.

I also expect they won’t be able to use Ejifor as a point-center this game (had 7 assists in MSG)

Jackson did little vs us so his ability to play is not a strong differentiator as Darling would start anyway. But their bench is not that deep to begin with (mainly 2 guys on usage).

Fouls will definitely be the key issue (and hopefully we learned how to inbound the ball!)

Statement game tonight.
The Hartford crowd is going to be so loud it has PBA sounding like Veteran's Memorial Coliseum.
The team is going to bring championship level ferocity.
And come morning the UConn Huskies are going to be in the driver's seat for the program's 12th Big East Regular Season Championship.
