My wife and I are going to the game.
It looks like seating capacity is roughly 17,000 or so since last year's game at carneseca arena Drew 900 fans I'm wondering if we are going to be all alone at the venue.

St. Johns is playing pretty good basketball this year they are ranked #25. It should be a good turnout if they keep playing the way they are playing now.

I see St. Johns has 9 seniors of the 13 roster players. How does that happen?
Transfers. There are 6:
Mimi Reid, Pitt
Jayla Everett, Pitt
Danielle Patterson, Indiana
Danielle Cosgrove, ND
Jillian Archer, Georgetown
Rayven Peoples, NW Florida

There are also two redshirt seniors, two sophomores, and two freshmen returning from last season. The other side of the double-edged sword that is transfers is that only 4 players will return for St John’s next year

Then they will add another six transfers. The Portal has changed the game; teams like St. Johns won’t even bother recruiting high school players.

Remember, last year was Covid. I had tickets for the game at Carnesecca last year, but passed on going. I would expect a large turnout. There are lots of UConn fans in the NY metro area, where all their games are available live on SNY. UBS is where the Islanders play, not far from the St. John's campus.

Uconn is 46 and 8 against ST Johns the last count I had. Not sure, but I think it's like 15-16 wins in a row up to now. As good as they are playing, we have always had their number, so I see no problems with St Johns. Especially since Azzi will be back for this game. We should be a solid 10 players available and raring to go. GO HUSKIES!!!

The arena is on the site of Belmont race track.
