st John’s robbery

Why would he store thousands of dollars of an expensive wine anywhere but a locked cellar? If that’s the Perry’s I think it is, you couldn’t replace 8 bottles for under $50k!

This one?

This one?

Yes - but I didn’t realize the 6 liter bottle was an actual thing! I thought it was 8 standard bottles at $6825 each! Way too much risk to have a bad cork on such a big, expensive bottle. That’s just an idiotic bottle to have. You’ll never open it!

And sure, a 93 is a fantastic score. But I’ve had higher scoring bottles for $40. They won’t last forever like this one, but, they’re enjoyable and not a risky investment.

Everyone up in arms about the wine is missing out on the fact that the sword is the actual sword that Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston swung around in the romantic thriller “The Bodyguard”. It’s invaluable, one of a kind and can cut through thin linen like a hot knife through butter when thrown in the air…

Must be a new thing robbing college basketball coaches.

If I recall correctly, Geno had his six original championship rings stolen out of his car. It was never clear to me why they were in the car..

I agree. That was curious. I don’t know if Geno was really pissed but considering the rings were gone he had the best response to the press, (paraphrasing as best that I remember) Whoever stole them can’t wear them and anyway I know that our team won them all. They’re just rings.

he was doing a photo shoot for some endorsement with the rings

I thought you were going to say it belonged to Erroll Flynn in the swashbuckling thriller
(1935) Captain Blood.
