OT: St. John’s considering playing fewer games at Madison Square Garden

I remember losing to St Johns at Carnesecca during the 89-90 dream season, I was still living in the city, it was the worst loss of the year (other than to Duke in the Elite Eight). And probably the last time we played them in Queens

My only UConn/St John’s experience was the time we played them at MSG in 2011. That was the game we lost by like 18. We had a good amount of fans in the building for that one, but STJ had a lot more. I remember that crowd being somewhat hostile, and for the first and only time, it felt like I was actually in enemy territory at Madison Square Garden. I cannot recall another game Ive attended at MSG where we were so outnumbered.
I remember that also. Very vociferous anti UConn crowd.

Palatine incoming to denigrate the NBE in 3...2...1....

over/under on the number of years it will take for even pro Big East UCONN fans to drop the "NBE" bs? I put it at 3, barring a P5 call up.

How is it “BS”? I’ll take the over for me bud. I will always call it the NBE. Nobody should ever forget what happened to us.

They are afraid UConn fans will make it a UConn home game....let's hope we get an MSG game with them but won't hold my breath.

at least in the last 20 + yrs, it’s always been home court for uconn (and syracuse)
