Just a note on our game up there next December 1...Sunday. There are 4 games that day...with UConn/Ohio State
the premier attraction. One of the other games has Marist...maybe the best mid-major in the land.
Ticket prices [good for all 4 games] range from $30 to $10. About half the house will be at 10 bucks...talk about a bargain!
Easy access off I-91...nice restaurants downtown....plenty of parking...would make a beautiful early December day.
I wonder if the HOF...very close by...is open on a Sunday? Lots of great things to see there as well.
Tip of the cap to Greg Procino...director of the HOF...for arranging the Sunday games and for going after the 2014 regionals.
It is no accident that the MLK weekend game each January has attracted such as Tina Charles...Lorin Dixon...Elena Delle Donne...Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis....Breanna Stewart. Procino has gone out of his way to entice UConn fans to attend that Friday evening of the MLK weekend. It is a great opportunity to get a sneak preview of UConn's Next One.
Hmm...wonder if there might be a 2014 attraction coming up next January?
