Got a sad chuckle here with the head line No Surprise Departures, from Fuller. Where as our roster always lists the coaching staff along with the players I for one was surprised when we lost two assistant head coaches in the past several weeks. Really thought they would be on the spring roster, that and comparing the bios of the replacements leaves a lot of room for surprise to say the least. Obviously I wish them both luck in their new field.

This the problem with practice highlights; beating yourself means nothing - absolutely nothing.

Remember when we thought our secondary looked improved in the spring game? Lmao

mclean having like 8 catches for 300 yards and 3 scores was kind of a sign.
While I agree that inflated his value, he was one of two players whose talent Chief thought was under utilized. Donovan Williams being the other.

Not publicly.

Tarbutt visited Washington State.

Murphy has offers from Ball State, Marshall, UMass, Bowling Green (Campenni) and LaTech (Diaco).
I thought Murphy ended up with UMass?

Looks like there are a lot of undersized defensive linemen on the roster. Maybe one or two of them make the switch? Watts is 230 lbs. That's pretty thin for a lineman. Has some speed, likes to hit and has length to eventually fit a TE's role once he learns how to out leap a defender and catch. Devaughn is another one. 230 lbs, 6'4". Looks like it'll be years for either one to grow into a D-1 defensive lineman. There is also Medlock from Desoto TX coming in the summer who has played TE in HS. But he's a true freshman and the other two have been in college for at least a year.

230 is not undersized for a young weakside DE.
