As has been the case for nearly the entire FBS history of UConn football (Dan Orlovsky years excluded), the Huskies have been a run-first team. 2023 was no different, as the Huskies had two strong RBs sharing time, reminiscent of the years with Andre Dixon/Donald Brown, and Victor Rosa and Cam Edwards. Edwards came on the scene midseason as UConn unexpectedly lost RB1 and RB2 in Devontae Houston and Brian Brewton, respectively. At the time of publishing, Brewton was with Middle Tennessee, while Houston joined East Tennessee State.

Four guys doesn't seem like a lot with how much pounding they take.

This is a good point. It seems there’s some quality, but not enough depth for the losses we’ve seem each of the past few years. Hopefully they stay healthy and none of them decide to leave the team after a few games.

I’m excited about Robinson. I think he will be a real good addition. If Rosa returns to form and Cam continues (I think he will be rb1) to improve this could be a very strong group.
