8-13 the last three years in the Big East. Seriously, as a UCONN fan, I am sad to see him go.

His record would have been something just north of abysmal if they didn't schedule so many cupcakes year in and year out. (not that ours is the most difficult either, but Rutgers really perfected the weak OOC schedule). Really good guy by all accounts and great recruiter, but didn't he kind of "do less with more talent" than a lot of guys?

I'm sad to see Schiano go. I know he beat us a bunch of games in a row, but there were some really flukish results in there. As long as he was around, I never thought of Rutgers as a threat. The next coach however may take them to the next level.
