Guests included Morgan, Kiah and Mike DiMauro.
Morgan said she's on track in her rehab, working on strengthening around the knee. She's been so impressed with the play of Moriah throughout the year. Thrilled for Kiah and how she's playing.
Kiah talked about playing with confidence on both ends. She said that once she got a couple of baskets, her confidence grew. She loved that she made an impact on the game. She was impressed with how aggressive ND was on the boards last night.
Mike DiMauro. Geno was magnificent in his press conference. He expected that after Muffet fired off missives. He said Geno didn't hit anybody over the head but said things in such a way that you knew he was jabbing very well. You can see the difference in how the two programs are run based on tone of press conferences. UConn people seem more comfortable in their own skin; ND appeared a little up tight. That's not to say ND will play that way tomorrow night. UConn handles the big room better as was apparent today; they also handle the small room better as was seen during the AP awards ceremony on Saturday. Mike said he's writing a column on this for tomorrow.
On men's game, Mike believes UConn is on a giant roll (like the NY Giants' Super Bowl runs); may not have best players but they are the best team on a roll.
On game tomorrow night, if Achonwa were healthy, team with ball last would win. Without her, UConn too good inside so will win by 8-10 points.
