It's going to be fun watching KML prove them wrong.

I'm thinking West Virginia should be higher and I would find a spot for Chrishae Rowe of Oregon on that 3rd team.

I wonder how many of those first team AA's will get drafted before Kaleena...and Elizabeth Williams doesn't make it either...

KML not on first team proves they have no clue.

I've learned that the best thing about adversity is to simply remain silent and go about the business of proving them wrong.

I am fairly certain that no one at UConn is going to pay much attention to this list - it's preseason

I think this article was written quite awhile ago as mentioned above, Alexis Jones is still playing for DUKE! So it's possible in September the writer would have a different outlook on AA list!

Niyah Johnson is a great PG and may lead the nation in assist to TO ratio, but I would not put her on the first team unless she improves her offensive skills dramatically.

Why? What list is Alexis Jones on? The problem is the magazine chose Niya Johnson, Nirra Fields, Damika Martinez and Jordan Jones as AAs over KML. This alone tells us all we need to know about this outfit and its knowledge of WCBB.

There isn't much of this list I agree with. I think Creme's top 25 was better.

Stanford at #4 ?????!

I'm not sure they should even be top 20.

Would you rather be a first team AA or win a NC? Every player on the UCONN team would answer NC. It is not clear whether every player on the Sporting News first team would answer the way UCONN players would and that is what makes us great. KML, for those of us who have seen her play healthy, obviously has the game to be first team but the fact that she isn't on the team is not something she will lose an ounce of sleep over.

KML second team..... maybe if she is injured and misses half the season again, but that is not going to happen. She will show everyone why she was the #1 player when recruited and why she will be the #1 draft pick.

KML is already a two-time NCAA champion, Coaches AA, and likely future top pick in the WNBA draft. She is guaranteed the distinction of becoming a a Husky of Honor. The Sporting News has never paid much attention to Women's College BB, so it is surprising to see this list at all; it is not surprising that they make some terrible judgments.

And no mention of Welch from USC. I think she will be a top 5 draft pick.

Kaleena must feel like Rodney Dangerfield! All she does is make shots and win. Oh, she rebounds, passes, and defends too. She'll pass NPOY Taurasi in 3-pointers made and NPOY Charles in career points. She deserves respect!

I'm glad to see MoJeff get recognition. The 7th grader will dominate games.

I have a feeling that Kiah Stokes will outplay half of the bigs on that list. Maybe more.

Stanford at 4? Tara's a great coach, and they have nice players, but no O sister. Maybe #10??
