Honestly, I would be disappointed if they're not higher than that going into the NCAA Tournament.

Looking at the teams in front of them like ND and Marquette I think 15 is a more accurate ranking. With the schedule being what it is and the toughest games at home or in NYC I can see going 15-1 or even 16-0 heading into mid-January when they play @Memphis and 2 days later vs. UL. That record should have Uconn in the top 5 at some point but then dropping down to 10-20 by the time March comes around.

Let them underrate us right now. I'm sure when the media polls come out we'll be somewhere between 10-18 (still underrated, IMO). There's no game I would see us not bring favored in until January, so why not run the table till Memphis/UL?

I'm not too worried about predictions but if we don't have Kelis Fisher or TO for the season, the frontcourt will be very slight and lacking in depth. Hard to imagine the remaining guys being able to consistently keep the likes of Harrell, Behanan, Patrick Young etc. off the boards

Close enough. I can see where it is easy to think about our record last year and that we should be relatively stronger this year. Agreed, however, we lived on the edge quite a bit and it wouldn't have taken a whole lot to swing a number of games the other way, mostly from W's to L's.

I'll be satisfied with being ranked for the time being. When you're ranked your results are scrolled on ESPN and your highlights shown during Sportscenter which is good exposure to all those future Huskies out there tuning in.

I think you can say that about any successful team. Good teams win most of the close games. That's basketball.
