Ugh! Japan scores terrible clear by the defense. Bad error.
 
It was only a matter of time. I have a feeling the U.S. will need a 3rd goal if it wants to win this one.
 
Our #3 could have cleared that out of the goal area...,
 
Manteo Mitchell finished his leg of the 4x400 today on a broken leg during qualifying. He felt something pop about half way during his first leg but held on to finish and hand off.

Might be a good time to go bring in O'Reilly - she's a terrific defender at the outside wing position.
 
Japan has a much better attack then Team USA and seems to be quicker. USA has to tighten up its defense to win the game.
