They had a big premier for the movie in East Hartford at the time in the theaters on Silver Lane. The cast was there, (xDenzel), the huge spotlights rotating up into the sky, limos, the red carpet entry, meet and greet with the cast, and some comments to the audience. I don't believe it was the first showing of the film, but it was a nice event. A good friend of mine was running Ray Allen's charity foundation in those years.

Went to the rap party for "Inside Man." Spike gave me the creepiest handshake I've ever had. Seriously. Denzel was cool and Jodi Foster was an absolute doll.

I saw a clip ~15 years ago with Denzel telling that story. The language was nowhere as colorful and he wasn't as funny as Spike but the story itself was basically the same.
