Speculation question on scheduling homecoming games for KK and Allie

We know UConn tries to schedule games near the hometowns of their players. Being a Wisconsinite living near the Twin Cities, last year I benefited, getting to see them when they played at Minnesota.

Looking ahead, KK’s hometown is 23 miles from Milwaukee and Allie’s is about 100. Any thoughts on whether their games against Marquette will be considered their homecoming games?

Personally, I hope they’ll try to schedule a game against the Badgers since that would have the bonus of being a reunion game with Marisa Mosley.

Allie went to Neenah, which is about 30 miles from UW Green Bay. That would be the closest option for her. They could schedule UW Milwaukee or Wisconsin for KK as well.

If it came down to these two, I’d prefer the Phoenix. They’re consistently ranked in the top 100 whereas UW-Milwaukee is very weak. I think in the 200’s last year per Massey. Better competition.

Besides they’re already in Milwaukee vs Marquette.

Marquette is the only possibility unless they try to schedule WI-Madison, which does have a UConn connection. That 100 mile distance from Neenah to Milwaukee is an easy 90-minute drive on a not well-traveled interstate.
