Sort of on the topic of why the Nocera article in the Times wasn't tackled by a Connecticut newspaper....
How nice must it be for Jim Boeheim to be in a one-horse (newspaper) town like Syracuse? The starting center is not on the flight to South Bend and instead of it being reported by the school or noticed by the local beat, the news breaks on a message board.
That's truly amazing. Not sure how you miss a 7'er on a flight, but hey, I bet the in-flight movie was riveting.
