Chong hit the critical 3 pts, then a steal for teammate's another 2, total 7 pts, 1 reb, 3 asts and 1 stl.

Chong's defense is just awesome....

And Nneka threw someone (Glory?) to the floor, got the ball in the lane, and Saniya got the steal Earlier she made a great play getting in position when Parker had a fast break, leading to a turnover. All that switching at UConn has paid off.

I think she played all of the final 15 minutes.

Chong finished the game running the point. Top five in minutes for the Wings. A steal as a third round pick.

What a great game for the Wings. Down by 14 and never led until the 4th quarter. They had a great fourth quarter and held on to beat the defending champs. Saniya looked good and played almost the entire 4th quarter. Led the team with a +17. The team almost always looks bad the first quarter of every game when they seem only to take low percentage shots and don't pass. They need to bottle the team play that they showed at the end of tonight's game

Thornton was awesome on the defensive end.

Another thing about Saniya's game is that she completely shut Sims down.

Great game for the Wings! Johnson and Thorenton controlled the Sparks bigs (which they couldn't do the first 3 quarters) and Diggins was great! Oh, and that kid that lost only 2 games her whole college career, had 3 great steals, scored the 3 that tied the game (got the crowd crazy with that shot) and calmly nailed 2 free throws in the last 30 seconds that practically iced the game!

I think the Sparks didn't want to work this hard for this game since they have to play the Mercury in a back-to-back tomorrow night. Now the Sparks end up losing this game and they have take on Griner and Taurasi on no days rest. Parker is notoriously bad on no days rest.

Saniya was also +17 - by far the best number on the team. She needs more minutes!

Saniya had a great +17, played about the last 15 minutes, hit the 3-ball to tie the game, and calmly sank 2 FTs in the final minute. She had her hands all over the comeback.

A nice win for a young team against last year's champs.
